This is one of the artworks I have painted the fastest in my life. The brushstrokes came out of my hand almost without my being able to think about them. Only one thing was clear to me: I wanted to play with the integration of the background and the painting. It was the first time I had worked on aluminium, and the surface is so attractive that I wanted it to be seen, I wanted the material to be part of the work.
That's why the background is not painted, it's the aluminium itself, and throughout the figures, there are totally intentional and provoked transparencies, which are intended to let the surface of the panel emerge again.

The encounter, in this work, is twofold: narrative, through the two characters who, again, encounter each other, and technical, through the integration of media and painting.
