I remember concentrating all my intentions for this work on creating light and shadow from abstract patches of color. The important thing was not to paint horses riding, but to have totally abstract brushstrokes to suggest them.
That, and the movement.
As a curious detail, this work was part of the scenography of the series 'Tración' (Betrayal), a production of RTVE (Spain) in 2017.
