The series Projection was born as an abstract exploration of the different possibilities of the portrait. It is with this series that the leap in my work takes place in which I stop painting eyes, expanding the expression beyond the gaze, and searching in the gesture for the different faces of the same essential human being.
 
This portrait number III explores the sensation of movement through the dragged line, in contrast to the static face. In it, an open eye can still be seen. It will be the last time.
