The series Projection was born as an abstract exploration of the different possibilities of the portrait. It is with this series that the leap in my work takes place in which I stop painting eyes, expanding the expression beyond the gaze, and searching in the gesture for the different faces of the same essential human being.
 
'Projection VIII' seeks a lighter stroke and to play with the combination of curved and rectilinear forms, a sort of sculpture painted in an almost dreamlike atmosphere.
