While the grass begins to reclaim its territory, as if nature were slowly absorbing what was once a witness to movement and freedom, this vehicle in eternal pause remains impassive, almost as if accepting the destiny of merging with its surroundings as if it were a single being.
The reference for this work came to me from the photograph of a friend, who found this vehicle like this, stranded in the middle of a forest, completely out of context, with all the questions that this suggests, but, at the same time, wrapped in a strange sensation that this is its place.
All life always comes to an end, even when the present seems eternal and forever. And there is a peculiar serenity in the awareness that this, even if we don't want it to, we know it must be so.
